His Beloved Ministry has come out of a devastating loss in my life.  My dear husband quietly went to sleep in Jesus early morning June 18, 2010.  He was in Washington DC studying for the ministry when he passed.  Words cannot express the profound pain of hearing the words of his passing early that morning by phone.

As I reflect back on the 17+ years we had together, I could only praise God for his goodness and mercy towards me.  Rodney was truly a man of God and he loved me with an agape love that can only be from above.  I loved to hear him call me 'Beloved'.  No one could say it like him and it got my attention and melted my heart each time. 

I pray that this site will be a blessing to all who visit and I hope to keep Rodney's Testimony alive through the semi-monthly newsletter and uploaded sermon videos.

Our Story

We met the Fall of 1992 at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff.  Three years later on a beautiful October day we were joined in holy matrimony in Texarkana.  We lived in Fort Worth for the first year of our marriage and made the big move to Chicago in 1996.  After six winters and much snow, we came to our senses and came back home to the warm south.  Rodney was originally from the infamous town of Mound Bayou, MS and I am origianlly from Ashdown, AR which is not far from where we built our home and where I still reside.  We built right back where we started from in Texarkana and we always enjoyed spending time with each other as well as family and friends, studying Bible prophecy, reading, singing and traveling.

Rodney was and I still am very active in the Jefferson City Seventh-day Adventist Church in Jefferson, TX where Rodney had served in the past as the head elder, head deacon and personal ministry leader.  I am currently the sabbath school superintendant and treasurer.  Jefferson City is an incredible church family full of brotherly love and if you're in the area, feel free to drop in and study with us.
